Angela Taylor- Banks Former Lioness, now a full-time working mum to three children. I’m employed in the print industry.

I was born in Brighton and am a season ticket holder at the Amex.

I’ve played football since I was very young, I joined my first football team aged 11 which was a local team which would eventually be known as Brighton Ladies.

Club Football: Brighton (Formally C & C sports), Surahammer DFK (Sweden) Whitehawk and Arsenal (133 appearances 133 goals) from when they started to record women’s statistics.

International career: England 18 caps 4 goals legacy number: 131

Coaching: Qualified FA Coach. I currently help Peacehaven U9s mixed grassroots team and am passionate about football for all.

Ambitions: To further my qualifications and to gain coaching experience to help grow football especially to use my network to support and provide opportunities for girls/women in football.

Inspiration: within the sport have been previous coaches/people who without their support and guidance on my journey it would not have been possible, and some continue to do so to this day. These include Julie Hemsley, Mike and Marita Grimwade, Vic Akers and of course my wonderful family.
